Welcome to String Clinic!
I am Dr. Soo Yeon Kim, violinist and educator based in the New York Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut) and Upstate New York. My string clinic is globally active as we have students across the United States, parts of Europe and Asia. For the past 16 years, String Clinic - along with my associate string faculty members - has been serving students of all ages and levels with passion, focusing especially on building a solid postural and technical foundation, as well as developing a deeper understanding of music through music theory and historical background studies in a holistic way.
